Our story begins in Kars. Our animals, nourished with rich grasses in the highlands of the Kars Mountains, are brought to our farm in Kocaeli before winter arrives — a farm owned by the Budak family for over 40 years. The “dreamed-of happy farm life” is reflected in every aspect of our farm.
What once was an empty land has been carefully built by our own hands, with patience and dedication. Today, it is home to hundreds of pine trees, walnut trees, fruit trees, agricultural fields, and animals living happily. Our farm represents a lifestyle that values simplicity, naturalness, and balance — embracing technology without abandoning tradition, and never surrendering to the negative side of industrialization.
Our structure, which aims to be self-sufficient, respectful to nature, and willing to share the gifts of nature, forms the core value of our farm.
Feeding of Our Animals
How our animals are fed, their comfort areas, and their happy lives on our farm are our top priorities. We care for our animals with great attention, raising them in comfort on our own farms, and we closely monitor what they eat and how they are nourished.
We would like to share the details of their nutrition with you — because if they are well, then you and we are well too.
On our farms, animals are fed with natural mountain grasses collected from our lands in Kars. These feeds, rich in protein, play a vital role in the healthy development and growth of our animals.
While protein supports physical development, our high-quality and aromatic grasses form the foundation of the unique taste of Etin En İyisi products. To meet daily protein needs, we prepare natural herbs and cotton seeds by boiling them in large special kettles.
For energy, we provide grains such as barley and corn, rich in minerals and vitamins. Additionally, we produce silage from seasonal grains, vegetables, and fruits, ensuring our animals receive a rich and balanced diet.
With our open grazing system, animals are free to roam and graze naturally. We also provide them with special areas such as relaxation, massage, and sunbathing spaces — treating them with the utmost care.
At Etin En İyisi farms, we never use industrial feed, GMO-based feed, hormones, or antibiotics. We never compromise on naturalness.
Industrial feeds often contain high levels of urea and uric acid, forcing animals into a cycle of excessive eating and drinking, leading to rapid weight gain but harming their internal organs — especially the liver — and shortening their lifespan.
This results in meat that lacks nutritional value, aroma, and character. In contrast, animals raised freely and naturally produce meat that is rich in protein, high in vitamins and minerals, intensely aromatic, and uniquely flavorful.
Clean Farming
Less but better — always natural, healthy, and nutritious… When you hold a fruit or vegetable, you should first notice its natural aroma, bringing freshness and vitality to your table. Because the best is always the most natural.
We grow our fruits and vegetables according to clean agriculture principles — without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We only use natural manure from our own animals as fertilizer.
Our products grow naturally with sunlight and are environmentally friendly.
We are fully aware of the harmful effects of pesticides on human health and nature. Therefore, we produce only with heirloom seeds and environmentally conscious methods.
